Western Darfur government welcomes ministry of humanitarian affairs positive response for the appeals the government of the state has made to sending relief assistance for IDPs at Al Gabal eastern areas. Humanitarian commissioner in the state Mohamed Hassn Awad told (smc) that the recent military events created negative impacts on humanitarian situation on areas such as Tor,Nartati and Galdo.
He said they have to feed the new IDPs influx from the reserved food and that however had  caused shortage in emergency food stock in the state.
The commissioner said federal humanitarian commission pledges to send urgent relief materials to be distributed to the new IDPs comers. He said the federal humanitarian commission has agreed to send a convoy of relief assistance to Jebel Moon after was recaptured from Justice and Equality Movement besides it pledges to dig five water wells against a Chinese grant.
