Humanitarian Aid Commissioner Salwa Adam Benya said that the terrorist Rapid Support Militia is still preventing the entry of humanitarian aid into the city of El Fasher in North Darfur State, obstructing the arrival of aid to those in need, and using it as a weapon. She called on the international community to take a position that prohibits this behavior by the militia, pointing to the continuation of the siege on El Fasher. Salwa bid farewell, in the presence of members of the Technical Committee for Humanitarian Aid from Port Sudan today, to aid convoys to the various states of Sudan to alleviate the conditions of displacement and alleviate the suffering of those returning to the liberated areas, pointing out that this work is the duty of the state represented by the Commission. Salwa Adam said in press statements that the deposited shipments will be distributed to Khartoum State with 400 tons of flour, Kassala State with 100 tons, Singa in Sennar State with 300 tons of flour plus 150 tons of other food and shelter materials because Singa has a high rate of return, Gedaref State with 100 tons of flour, White Nile State with 100 tons of flour, Al-Jazeera Aba in White Nile State with 50 tons, and 150 tons of flour for the displaced people of Central and South Darfur who were displaced to White Nile State, so that the total aid to White Nile State becomes 450 tons, the Nile River State with 2000 tons, the Northern State with 1000 tons, and Abu Deleiq with 375 tons, noting the continued arrival of aid ships. The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner explained that all the regular forces have done great work and made great sacrifices for the homeland and the citizen, sending greetings to the fighters on the front lines. She expressed the government's appreciation to all supporters from organizations and other entities, whether foreign or national, indicating that they have made a great contribution to the citizens, noting that there are currently loaded ships at the port that will be unloaded and distributed to the states within the next two days. She added that the government cares about its citizens and is making every effort to facilitate the delivery of aid, calling on citizens to return to their liberated locations. She revealed field visits by federal delegations from the National Committee to Singa, Gedaref and Khartoum State in the coming days to monitor the delivery of aid. Regarding the humanitarian situation in South Kordofan and Darfur, she said that the contract to transport aid to South Kordofan by air has been renewed for an additional two months after the expiration of the first contract, which was one month, indicating that there are materials allocated to South Kordofan that are currently being contacted to deliver. She explained that South Kordofan has a special status given that it has areas under the control of the People's Movement, led by Al-Hilu, indicating that airdrops of aid are being carried out in these areas. She said, “In Darfur, we have open crossings to deliver aid, and there are air and land means that help in the flow of aid quantities to the five states, noting that there are obstacles that hinder the delivery of aid to the city of El Fasher in North Darfur State”
