The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner, Ms. Salwa Adam Biniya, refuted the rumors of famine in Sudan as a pure fabrication. She added that all the elements that determine the existence of famine do not exist in Sudan, as there are no joint surveys at all, and it is not possible to impose an incorrect reality, and to intervene under the pretext of food, noting that some organizations have an agenda under the pretext of food. She said, "We reject the involvement of humanitarian work in political work." The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner pointed out during the press conference of the Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry, Culture and Information, Health, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Humanitarian Aid Commission in the weekly enlightenment of the Ministry of Culture and Information organized by the Sudan News Agency in the Intelligence Hall in Port Sudan today on the food security situation in Sudan, she pointed out the keenness of the Sudanese government to deliver aid to those affected, and that what is being raised about obstructing aid is pure fabrication, noting that the number of permits issued from Port Sudan amounted to ten thousand permits, which go to the states, as well as in the facilities provided through the Adre and Tina crossings, which entered through 1700 trucks are on their way to Darfur for four states except El Fasher and Zamzam camp, considering that they are besieged through the systematic starvation approach followed by the militia by besieging the camps, as this behavior does not find sufficient condemnation from organizations and countries. The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner added that any registered organization or agency that does not adhere to the controls and foundations of humanitarian work from respecting the state's policy will be taken against it. She added that we are in the process of taking measures against anyone who contributes to false information against Sudan and will not have the right to practice any activity in Sudan. The Commissioner General stressed during the press conference the commitment of the Government of Sudan, represented by the Humanitarian Aid Commission, to provide all facilities, accelerate and complete procedures to deliver humanitarian aid to the affected states so that it reaches every Sudanese citizen without exception. She pointed out that the relief delivery contract was renewed for two more months, including 4,000 metric tons to Kadugli and the Juld area, including airdrops. The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner added that the facilities include issuing permits within a week, as there is a complex to facilitate procedures in which all institutions are located, indicating that some organizations do not adhere to the procedures followed by informing the Commission to change the route if the militia objects to the agreed routes, and in the violations that occur in obtaining a shipping permit without shipping relief supplies in the first place. The Humanitarian Aid Commissioner called on the international community and organizations to condemn the approach of the Rapid Support Militia in preventing and obstructing the arrival of humanitarian aid to those in need, in El Fasher and the displacement camps in Darfur. The Minister reviewed the support provided by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Indonesia, Turkey, Libya, Kuwait, China, Bahrain, Jordan, and Malaysia, which included providing food, medicine, and medical supplies.
